Kaolin

Another group of clays with endless applications, G & W Minerals mines kaolin at its Grahamstown mine. Kaolin products include G1, G3 and G10, which are used in ceramics, plastics, rubbers, adhesives, soaps, and in agriculture where its low oil absorption, complex mineralogy, low iron and high alkali contents are beneficial.
