G&W Attapulgite
Product Description
Attapulgite is an inert clay with specific colloidal and sorptive properties. Unlike bentonite, attapulgite does not flocculate in the presence of electrolytes, therefore high-shear mixing will obtain stable suspensions in a variety of inorganic and organic liquids and solvents. Attapulgite’s porous structure and high specific surface area provide benefits in the absorption of liquids and the adsorption of heavy metals.
